Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor - 4.6L (2V): Installation

- Position the CMP sensor and install the bolt.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Position the power steering fluid reservoir and the radio interference capacitor and install the nut.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Position the power steering pump, the bolt and the stud bolts.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (14 lb-ft).
- Using the special tool, install a new O-ring seal on the power steering pressure hose fitting.
- Connect the power steering pressure hose fitting.
- Tighten to 65 Nm (48 lb-ft).
- Attach the power steering hose bracket and install the nut.
- Tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
- Position the ground wire and the wiring harness bracket and install the nuts.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
- Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley.
- Install the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
