Removal and Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. Remove the rear door scuff plate.
  2. Remove the C-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
  3. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
  4. Remove the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.
  5. Vehicles with third row seating 

  6. Remove the third row seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  7. Position the liftgate opening weatherstrip aside.
  8. All vehicles 

  9. If equipped, remove the luggage assembly cover.
  10. Remove the stowage compartment doors.

  11. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

  12. Remove the stowage compartment assembly.
  13. Position the carpet aside.
  14. Remove the brackets.
    • Remove the bolts.

  15. Remove the rear quarter trim panel.
  16. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
