Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Release the 2 fluid cooler hose clamps and disconnect the hoses.
- Allow the power steering fluid to drain into a suitable container.
- Remove the 2 bolts and remove the power steering fluid cooler.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
