Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Remove the rear door speaker. For additional information, refer to SPEAKERS .
  3. Remove the interior moulding.
  4. Remove the rear door weather shield.
  5. Remove the 2 rear door glass top run channel assembly bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the rear door window glass-to-regulator bolt or rivet.
    • Position the rear door window glass as necessary to access the rear door window glass-to-regulator bolt or rivet.
    • To install, tighten the bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) or install a new rivet.
  7. Remove the applique on the rear door.
    • Remove the screws.

  8. Remove the rear door window glass.
    • Pull the glass out through the top inboard side of the door.

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
