Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Position a new gasket and the electronic throttle body, and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts in two stages.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
    • Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn).
  2. Connect the electronic throttle body electrical connectors.
  3. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
