Stub Shaft Pilot Bearing & Seal: Installation

NOTE: Inspect the inboard CV joint seal journal for rust or nicks/scratches prior to installing the axle shaft. If necessary, polish the seal journal with fine crocus cloth.
NOTE: Lubricate the new stub shaft pilot bearing housing seal with grease before installation.

To install the bearing, use the Adapter Handle (205-153, T80T-4000-W) and Axle Bearing Installer (205-195, T83T-1244-A). Install the stub shaft pilot bearing. See Fig 1 . To install the seal, use the adapter handle and Front Axle Oil Seal Installer (205-350, T95T-3010-A). Install the stub shaft pilot bearing housing seal. See Fig 2 . Install the axle shaft assembly. See AXLE SHAFTS  .
