Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the LH exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD - LH .
  2. Remove the bolt and the oil level indicator and tube.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  3. Remove and discard the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal.
    4. NOTE: Install a new oil level indicator tube O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine oil.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
