In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

    CAUTION: Special bolts are used for flexplate installation. Do not use standard bolts.
  1. Position the flexplate and install the bolts finger tight.
  2. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in Fig 1 to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

  3. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 5R55S .
