Exhaust Manifold - RH: Installation

- Position new gaskets and the exhaust manifold and install the nuts finger tight.
- Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown in Fig 1 to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
- Position the heat shield and install the bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Attach the Y-pipe to the manifolds and install the 4 nuts
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Tighten the RH transmission mount bolt to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
- Connect the exhaust manifold-to-EGR system module tube.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Install the RH fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
