Crankshaft Rear Seal with Retainer Plate: Removal

  1. Remove the flexplate. For additional information, refer to FLEXPLATE .
  2. Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to OIL PAN .
  3. Remove the spacer plate.
  4. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal slinger.

  5. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.

  6. Remove the 6 bolts and the retainer plate.
