In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Installation

    NOTE: Special bolts are used for flexplate installation. Do not use standard bolts.
  1. Install the flexplate. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in the sequence shown in Fig 1.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).
    • Stage 2: Tighten to 71 Nm (52 lb-ft).
