Axle Tube Bearing: Removal

  1. Remove the RH halfshaft. For additional information, refer to FRONT DRIVE HALFSHAFTS .
  2. Remove the RH axle shaft.

  3. Using the special tool and a suitable slide hammer, remove the axle shaft oil seal.

  4. Using the special tool and a suitable slide hammer, remove the axle tube bearing.

  5. Clean the bearing and seal mounting surfaces.
