Temperature Control Switch: Removal

  1. Remove instrument panel center finish panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER FINISH PANEL . Remove temperature control switch knob. Align locator holes and insert special tool. Release locking tab. Remove temperature blend door control cable from blend door shaft. See Figure.
  2. Depress three tabs and remove temperature blend door control cable. See Fig 1. Remove screw. See Fig 2. Depress tab and rotate temperature control switch counterclockwise and remove temperature control switch.
