Preliminary Inspection

Verify customers complaint. Before performing any testing, perform a visual inspection. Check coolant level and condition. Check system fuses. Check connectors for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Check for damaged wiring harnesses. Check for damaged or binding actuator cable.
If no problem is found, attempt diagnosis by symptom. See SYMPTOM TESTS . Repair as necessary.
