Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION
  2. Disconnect the liftgate moulding electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the liftgate latch release cable.
  4. Remove the 4 nuts and the liftgate moulding.
    • To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
