Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Passenger-side air bag module is located in right side of instrument panel above glove box. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Release passenger-side air bag module electrical connector pin-type retainer. See Figure . Remove passenger-side air bag module upper mounting bolt. Open glove box door. Push in 2 glove box door tabs and position door fully downward. Remove passenger-side air bag module lower mounting bolts and air bag module. See Figure .
