Manual Control Lever Shaft Seal: Installation

  1. Position the new seal in place.

  2. Using the special tool, install a new selector shaft seal.

  3. Position the manual lever in place and install the roll pin.

  4. Connect the shift cable end.

  5. Install the battery tray and battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  6. If required, top off the transaxle with clean continuously variable transaxle (CVT) transmission fluid. Use the transmission fluid level setting procedure to fill the transaxle. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK AND SETTING .
