Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Make sure to correctly route and secure the wheel speed sensor harness in the rear subframe assembly.

    All vehicles 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
  4. LH 

  5. Release the wheel speed sensor harness spring clip and the 2 pin-type retainers from the rear control arm.

  6. Release the wheel speed sensor harness pin-type retainer and remove the wheel speed sensor.

  7. RH 

  8. Release the wheel speed sensor harness spring clip and the 2 pin-type retainers from the rear control arm.

  9. Release the 3 pin-type retainers and remove the wheel speed sensor.

  10. All vehicles 

  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
