Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Passenger-side air bag module is located in right side of instrument panel above glove box. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Working through glove box opening, remove passenger-side air bag module mounting bolts. See Figure . Reaching hand through glove box opening, push air bag module outward through front of instrument panel. Remove air bag module.
