Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Mercury Montego, 2005 Ford Freestyle, and 2005 Ford Five Hundred. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Under normal operation the LH front power window control switch receives power from the delay accessory relay through circuit 1499 (PK/LG) and is grounded to chassis through circuit 1205 (BK). When the LH front window control switch is operated in the up position, the LH front window motor receives power through circuit 226 (WH/BK). When the LH front window control switch is operated in the down position, the LH front window motor receives power through circuit 227 (YE). When the LH front window motor receives a ground signal on circuit 2018 (OG/YE), the LH front window motor will enter one-touch up/down mode. The LH window motor receives battery power through circuit 995 (GY) at all times, and delayed accessory power through circuit 2086 (RD/LB) when the key is ON and the delayed accessory feature is active.
