Removal and Installation

Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, REFER to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Position the watershield aside.
Remove the 3 rear door latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
Open the clip and disconnect the exterior rear door handle actuating rod.

Position the rear door latch aside.
Disconnect the 2 rear door latch electrical connectors and remove the rear door latch.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the rear door latch after installation.
