Removal and Installation

  1. Press the locking tab on either side of the DVD player assembly at the latch covers and slide the latch covers down until the locking tabs are clear of the holes.
    2. NOTE: Lower the DVD player slowly to prevent stressing the electrical harness at the connection.
  2. With palms positioned underneath the DVD player assembly and fingers out to grip the latch covers, squeeze down towards the palms.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the DVD player.
    • Press the locking tab.
    • Rotate the mechanical assist to the open position of the connector.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Make sure that the rail clips are correctly seated by gently pulling down at each corner of the DVD player.
