Pinpoint Test A: No Communication With The Parking Aid Module

  1. A1 CHECK THE PARKING AID MODULE CIRCUIT 294 (WH/LB) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Parking Aid Module C2023.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the parking aid module C2023-1, circuit 294 (WH/LB), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : GO to  A2.
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. A2 CHECK CIRCUIT 857 (BK/LB) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Measure the resistance between the parking aid module C2023-4, circuit 875 (BK/LB), harness side and ground.

    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 
    • Yes  : REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continue diagnosis of the communication network.
    • No  : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
