Removal and Installation

NOTE: Due to locator pin location on the riser frame, 20 percent seats will not interchange between regular cab vehicles and SuperCab/SuperCrew vehicles.
  1. Remove the seat cushion.
    • While applying slight pressure, pull up at the front edge of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.
  2. Disconnect the electrical disconnect (if equipped).
  3. Remove the 20 percent riser-to-floor front bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  4. Remove the 20 percent riser-to-floor rear bolts
    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  6. NOTE: After installing the seat cushion, make sure the safety belt and tongue are accessible to the passenger.
  7. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, REFER to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
