Removal & Installation

Release fuel system and tank pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect Fuel Tank Temperature (FTT) sensor electrical connector and remove FTT sensor. Replace FTT sensor "O" rings. Lubricate NEW FTT sensor "O" rings with 5W-30 motor oil. To install, reverse removal procedure. After installation is complete, fuel system must be leak tested.
