When the headlamp switch is placed in the ON position, voltage is supplied to the instrument panel dimmer switch. The instrument panel dimmer switch then sends a variable voltage to the dimmable backlighting lamps and the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster controls the ground circuit for the delay accessory relay field coil. The non-dimmable backlighting lamps receive voltage from circuit 54 (LG/YE) from the accessory delay relay located in the central junction box (CJB)
