Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
  2. Visually inspect the following for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
    VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

    Mechanical Electrical
    • Windshield washer hoses
    • Wiper linkage
    • Windshield wiper motor
    • CJB fuses:
      • 1 (10A)
      • 113 (30A)
    • Circuitry
    • Multifunction switch
  3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the Symptom Chart. GO to SYMPTOM CHART - WIPERS AND WASHERS .
