Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Make sure the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are in the OFF position.
- Remove the radiator side air deflector.
- Remove the pin-type retainer.
- Remove the 3 headlamp bolts.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Remove the headlamp assembly.
- Lift up on the retaining tab and pull the headlamp assembly straight out to prevent damage to the retainer and the locator pin.
- Remove the low/high beam bulb.
- Remove the parking lamp/turn signal bulb holder.
- Remove the parking lamp/turn signal bulb.
- Remove the side marker lamp holder.
- Remove the side marker lamp.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Low/high beam bulb only
WARNING:
The headlamp bulb contains gas under pressure. The bulb may shatter if the glass envelope is scratched or if the bulb is dropped. Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass envelope. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
NOTE:
The headlamp bulb should not be removed from the headlamp housing until the new bulb is to be installed. Removing the bulb from the headlamp housing for an extended period of time may adversely affect headlight service life. Contaminants may enter the headlamp housing where they can settle on the lens or the reflector. Never turn on the headlights with the bulb removed.
