Bleeding Without RADKITPLUS - 1998 Crown Victoria & Grand Marquis

  1. Remove heater hose from heater outlet tube at rear of right cylinder head. Fill cooling system with 50/50 mixture of coolant and water until mixture flows out of heater outlet tube. Reinstall heater hose to outlet tube. Fill cooling system with 50/50 mixture of coolant and water to below filler neck seat. Turn heater controls to maximum and set air discharge to instrument panel vents. Turn blower to high.
    WARNING: DO NOT operate engine with hood open. If fan blade has cracks or has separated, personal injury or damage to vehicle could occur.
  2. Install radiator cap, start and run engine until thermostat opens (hot coolant can be felt flowing through upper radiator hose). Turn engine off and allow to completely cool off. Remove radiator cap. Fill cooling system with 50/50 mixture of coolant and water to COLD FULL LEVEL mark. Install radiator cap. Check for leaks.
