Oil Pan: Installation
Remove old sealant from oil pan bolts and bolt holes in lower cylinder block. Apply silicone sealant to sealing surface of engine block. Position oil pan, install bolts/studs in original position. Install oil pan-to-transaxle housing bolts and tighten to specification. Tighten oil pan bolts and nuts in reverse sequence of removal. See Figure. Tighten bolts/studs to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Fill crankcase with oil. Start engine and check for leaks.
