Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Removal

Remove timing chains, and rocker arms. See TIMING CHAINS . Remove cylinder head camshaft journal thrust caps first, before removing remaining camshaft journal caps. See Figure. Remove bolts and camshaft journal caps. Remove camshafts from cylinder heads.
