Description & Operation
The power moon roof system is powered through fuse No. 21 (40-amp), located in the Central Junction Box (CJB). The moon roof system operates with ignition on or engine running. A moon roof control switch located in the overhead console, controls moon roof operation. A reversible electric motor opens and closes the moon roof panel.
When the moon roof control switch is rocked rearward with the moon roof in the closed position, the moon roof panel will slide rearward. Rocking the moon roof control switch forward with moon roof panel open will close the moon roof. When the moon roof control switch is rocked forward with the moon roof in the closed position, the rear portion of the moon roof panel raises to the vent position. Rocking the moon roof control switch rearward from vent position will return moon roof panel to closed position.
