With Anti-Theft

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove and inspect fuse No. 25 (20-amp) from central junction box located under left side of steering column. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse and retest system operation. If fuse fails again, check for short to ground in Red or Orange/White wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair as necessary. Retest system operation.
  2. Disconnect central locking module 13-pin harness connector C451B located on right side "A" pillar. Measure voltage between ground and central locking module harness connector C451B terminal No. 6 (Orange/White wire). See Figure . If more than 10 volts exists, go to next step. If 10 volts or less exists, repair Orange/White wire between central locking module and central junction box. Retest system operation.
  3. Press door lock switch to lock position. Measure voltage between ground and central locking module harness connector C451B terminal No. 10 (Yellow/Violet wire) while pressing door unlock switch. If more than 10 volts exists when unlock switch is pressed, go to next step. If 10 volts or less exists when unlock switch is pressed, repair open in Yellow/Violet wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Retest system operation.
  4. Press door lock switch to unlock position. Measure voltage between central locking module harness connector C451B terminal No. 4 (White/Violet wire) while pressing door lock switch. If more than 10 volts exists while pressing door lock switch, replace central locking module. Retest system operation. If 10 volts or less exists while pressing door lock switch, repair open in White/Violet wire. Retest system operation.
