Activating System (DeVille & Seville)

  1. Remove key from ignition switch. On DeVille with optional rear air bags, connect the passenger rear air bag Yellow connector to the vehicle harness. Install CPA clip. Connect driver rear air bag Yellow 2-pin connector to vehicle harness. Install CPA clip. Install rear seat back.
  2. On all models, connect driver side air bag and seat belt pretensioner Yellow connector to vehicle harness. Install CPA clip. Connect passenger side air bag and seat belt pretensioner Yellow connector to vehicle harness. Install CPA clip.
  3. Connect passenger front air bag Yellow connector to vehicle harness. Install CPA clip. Install passenger-side sound insulator. Connect driver front air bag Yellow connector to vehicle harness at base of steering column. Install CPA clip. Install sound insulator panel.
  4. Install SIR fuse in fuse block. Install rear seat. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times, and then turns off.
