LPG Fuel System Pressure Release (Fuel Line Venting): Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING:
Fuel supply lines remain pressurized after engine shutdown. Ensure no open flame of any type is present. Flammable gases may be present and ignite, resulting in possible injury. Always release (vent) fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component downstream of fuel tank shutoff solenoids. DO NOT vent fuel system indoors. Manufacturer recommends venting fuel through a vent stack that allows natural gas to be vented outside of repair shop. Vent stack must be approved by local authorities.
NOTE:
To perform fuel system pressure release, use Fuel Rail Test and Venting Kit (134-00116), Grounding Cable (134-00121) and Venting Hose (134-00118).
