Power Steering Pump Pulley: Removal

    Vehicles with 5.4L engine 

  1. Remove the air cleaner intake pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
  2. Vehicles with 4.6L engine 

  3. Remove the cooling fan and shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  4. Vehicles with 4.2L engine 

  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
  6. All vehicles 

  7. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley.
  8. Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.
