Intake Manifold Tuning (IMT) Valve - 4.6L (2V): Installation

- Position the IMT valve in the intake manifold and install the bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Install the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 4.6L (2V) .
CAUTION:
The IMT valve must be fully seated in the intake manifold before installing the bolts, or the IMT valve can be damaged.
NOTE:
Clean and inspect the IMT valve O-ring seal. Install a new seal if necessary. Lubricate the IMT valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
