Removal and Installation

    Both sides 

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .

    2. LH side 

  2. Remove the air cleaner inlet pipe and resonator. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .

    3. Both sides 

  3. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the bolt and the CMP sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
