Removal and Installation

  1. Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
  2. Release the clamp and disconnect the degas bottle upper hose.
  3. Release the clamp and disconnect the degas bottle lower hose.
  4. Remove the bolts and the degas bottle.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
