Warning Indicator Lights

If Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is always illuminated and does not self-test, go to TEST NB: MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT , step 1) .
If MIL never illuminates, go to TEST NB: MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT , step 2) .
If MIL self-tests and then illuminates and stays on, or is flashing while driving, perform QUICK TEST in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - VILLAGER article.
