High Oil Consumption Or Leaks

Check engine mechanical condition. Check compression, camshaft, valve train components, etc. Repair as necessary. See appropriate article in ENGINES.
Check for proper engine oil level and quality, and for proper oil dipstick application.
Check engine for external oil leaks.
Check for engine oil contamination/dilution from fuel or coolant.
