Removal and Installation

    SuperCab vehicles 

  1. From the bottom of the seat backrest, push the seat backrest upward, then pull the bottom outward and remove from the vehicle.

  2. Regular cab vehicles 

  3. Position the front seat(s) forward.

    Crew Cab vehicles 

  4. Position the rear seats forward.
  5. Regular and Crew Cab vehicles 

    NOTE: RH side shown, all others similar.

  6. Remove the bolt and the child safety seat tether anchor.
  7. SuperCab vehicles 

    NOTE: RH side shown, all others similar.

  8. Remove the bolt and the child safety seat tether anchor.
  9. All vehicles 

    WARNING: It is important that the bolt/anchor be securely tightened to specification. Otherwise, the child's safety seat may not be correctly secured, and the child can be injured in case of a sudden stop or accident.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • See the REMOVAL PROCEDURE  or SPECIFICATIONS  for torque specifications.
    • For SuperCab, after seat backrest installation, make sure the child safety seat tether anchor strap is accessible and not trapped between the seat backrest and cab back panel.
  11. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
