Removal and Installation

Remove the scuff plate.
Remove the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Pull the carpet or mat back to see the front body insulator plug button .

Remove the button.

Remove and discard the bolt.

Remove the insulator.

NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.

NOTE: No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body insulator installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
