Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S): Installation

  1. Using the special tool, install the HO2S.
    • To install, tighten to 46 Nm (34 lb-ft).
    • Apply a light coat of high temperature nickel anti-seize lubricant to the HO2S threads prior to installation.

  2. Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
