Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 4.6L AND 5.4L (4.6L and 5.4L engines) or Engine - 6.8L . (6.8L engines).
  2. Remove the knock sensor (KS).
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the nut and the KS.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
