Pinpoint Test C: No Power In Run

  1. C1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH 
    • Carry out the Ignition Switch Continuity Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING for component testing.
    • Does the ignition switch test OK? 
    • Yes  : GO to C2.
    • No  : REPLACE the ignition switch. REFER to IGNITION SWITCH . TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. C2 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE INTERIOR FUSE PANEL 
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the interior fuse panel and ground:
      INTERIOR FUSE PANEL CIRCUIT SPECIFICATION

      Interior Fuse Panel Circuit
      Fuse 8 (30A) 1499 (PK/LG)
      Fuse 6 (10A) 1119 (RD)
      Fuse 7 (10A) 687 (GY/YE)
      Fuse 15 (5A) 297 (BK/LG)

    • Are the voltages greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : REVERIFY the concern. GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
    • No  : If fuse 8 (30A) measures less than 10 volts, REPAIR circuit 1499 (PK/LG).

    If fuse 6 (10A) measures less than 10 volts, REPAIR circuit 1119 (RD).

    If fuse 7 (10A) measures less than 10 volts, REPAIR circuit 687 (GY/YE).

    If fuse 15 (5A) measures less than 10 volts, REPAIR circuit 297 (BK/LG).

    TEST the system for normal operation.
