DTC P1001: KOER Not Able To Complete, KOER Aborted

P1001 - KOER NOT ABLE TO COMPLETE, KOER ABORTED

Description:  This non-malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) code is set when the key on/engine running (KOER) self-test does not complete in the time intended.
Possible Causes: 
  • Incorrect self-test procedure
  • Unexpected response from the self-test monitors
  • RPM out of specification
Diagnostic Aids:  Run the self-test following QT1 in SYMPTOM CHARTS, STEP 1: PCM QUICK TEST .
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
