P1572 - BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH CIRCUIT
| Description: | Indicates the brake input rationality test for brake pedal position (BPP) and brake pressure applied (BPA) switches has failed. One or both inputs to the PCM did not change state when expected.
NOTE:
On vehicles with stability assist, the BPP switch is connected to the ABS module and the ABS generates a Driver Brake Application (DBA) signal, which is then sent to the PCM.

| Diagnostic Aids: | DTC P1572 is set when the PCM does not sense the proper sequence of the brake pedal input signal from both the BPP and BPA switches when the brake pedal is applied and released. | ||
