Rear Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
    CAUTION: Clean off dirt and debris that may have collected around the rear axle speed sensor before removal to prevent fluid contamination.
  3. Remove the rear axle speed sensor.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the rear axle speed sensor.
