The body:
- is a cab-forward design.
- is constructed of lightweight, all steel-welded material, with bolted, removable front fenders (16005), hinged doors, and hood.
- has roof and body side panels that are separate pieces.
- is supported by a full frame.
Pickup trucks have the following features:
- a standard two-door or optional four-door SuperCab and four-door crew cab.
- a standard 2.44 m (8 ft) or optional 1.98 m (6.5 ft) pickup bed length.
- all steel, hinged tailgate.
Excursion offers the following:
- rear split doors constructed of a sheet-molded composite (SMC) which are hinged and bolted to the body.
- a standard four-door body style.
